Clint Gottinger, owner of Rebel Towing near Kelvington, used his deck and a soft sling to lift a young moose from broken ice on April 25 with help from nearby residents, according to Service Truck Magazine. Gottinger and his wife wrapped the animal in blankets at home; the moose left under its own power Monday morning.
