Kentucky Tow Operator Struck and Killed on I-165; Driver Charged with Manslaughter

David William Fischer, 71, a tow truck operator from Owensboro with more than 40 years in the industry, was struck and killed on Interstate 165 on March 11 while assisting a disabled vehicle, according to Spectrum News 1. The driver of the passing semitrailer, 31-year-old Suk Subba, was charged with second-degree manslaughter, wanton endangerment, and leaving the scene.
